The customer must arrange their own carrier, ideally a local carrier with a suitable semi-trailer or hydraulic arm, who will pick up the container in Genoa and transport it. After closing the deal, we will send you all the documents necessary for picking up the shipment, including the container number and release instructions. Simply hand these documents over to your carrier, who will take over the container at the terminal and deliver it to the location you specify.

It is also necessary to arrange the unloading and placement of the container on the site separately – for example using a crane, forklift, or the hydraulic arm of a truck. We recommend checking in advance whether the carrier has experience in handling High Cube containers and whether they have the equipment available for safe unloading. After delivering the container to the site, it is advisable to place it on a solid, level surface, ideally on concrete footings or panels, to prevent the frame from twisting.
