Shipping container 40 HC IICL, 422 741-0
If you’re looking for a reliable and spacious storage or shipping solution, the 40-foot (12.2-meter) High Cube shipping container is the right choice. This type of container is particularly popular due to its larger internal volume and its potential for use in a variety of industries. At our depot in Munich, Germany, we offer containers in quality category IICL, which means they meet the highest standards for long-term use. Shipping of the purchased container is not included, separate pickup is required.
Specifications and dimensions 40 HC
The 40ft High Cube container differs from the standard 40ft container mainly in height. This provides more interior space, making it an ideal choice for transporting or storing bulkier goods. Here are the specifications of this model:
- 12.03 m internal length.
- internal width: 2.35 m
- internal height: 2.70 m
- volume: 76.4 m³
- load capacity: up to 28 560 kg
- empty container weight: 3 940 kg
These dimensions and load capacities ensure that the High Cube container provides enough space for cargo that would not fit in a standard container. Dimensions are approximate and may vary slightly depending on the manufacturer.
IICL quality – what does it mean?
The containers we offer are classified in the IICL (Institute of International Container Lessors) quality category. This category guarantees that the containers have been thoroughly inspected and meet strict standards for long-term use. They are suitable for both transport and static storage. In this quality, you can expect minimal wear and tear, functional doors, undamaged seals and an overall reliable container condition.
RAL 5010 colour: what do you mean?
Containers are available in a variety of colours, with RAL 5010 being one of the most popular. This colour is known as ‘gentian blue’ – a deep blue shade that looks elegant but practical at the same time. Blue containers are popular not only from an aesthetic point of view, but also because of their ability to withstand the weather. Please note, however, that specific colour options are always on request as availability of each variant may change over time.
Pick up in Munich – Germany
The container is currently stored at the depot in Munich, Germany. We do not provide transport from the depot to the final destination, therefore it is necessary for the customer to arrange transport independently. We recommend using a local carrier who will take care of both the pick-up at the depot and the safe delivery to the desired location. After the deal is closed, we will send you all the necessary information, which you will then pass on to the carrier.
We have several of these 40ft High Cube containers available at our Munich depot. Please note, however, that containers are sold quickly and availability may vary. You will receive a container that meets all the specifications listed and is IICL quality, but may not be the specific piece shown in the illustration photos. For safety reasons, personal inspection of containers at the depot is not possible.
If you are looking for a reliable container that will meet your expectations, a 40ft High Cube container in IICL quality is the ideal solution. Contact us for more information and to check the availability of specific colour options.
