All important parts (floor, doors, hinges, walls and roof) are in operational condition and can withstand even demanding conditions in recycling centers, construction sites or during long-term storage.

RAL 7035 Color – Modern Appearance and Protection

RAL 7035 color, also known as light gray, is a very popular choice for industrial use. This color not only looks clean and modern, but also resists solar radiation and minimizes heating of the container during summer months. The surface treatment protects steel from corrosion, which increases the lifespan of the container even in demanding conditions.

Possible Uses of Shipping Container in a Recycling Center

Shipping containers are used in recycling centers in many roles. Primarily, they serve as storage spaces for sorted raw materials, such as paper, plastic, metal, glass or e-waste. In addition, containers can be easily converted into mobile workshops for repair and maintenance of recycling equipment, office facilities or even temporary collection points for secondary raw materials. Thanks to modularity and mobility, containers can be moved at any time or operations can be expanded according to the current needs of the center.

What Can Be Stored in a 20-foot Container

A standard 20-foot (6 meter long) container offers an internal volume of over 33 m³. You can easily store most common recycling materials in such a space. Suitable for storage of paper bales, plastic bottles, metal cans, smaller electrical appliances or glass. Thanks to the solid steel construction, the container is protected against weather conditions and pests, which ensures safe storage of materials until collection or further processing.

Possibilities for Container Conversion and Modifications

Shipping containers can be easily adapted to the specific needs of a recycling center. A basic modification is the installation of shelving systems for more efficient use of space. Furthermore, the container can be equipped with ventilation openings, insulation panels, electrical installation, lighting or security locks. Conversions into mobile offices, workshops or production units are common practice. Containers can also be connected to form larger units and create modular units according to operational requirements.

Advantages of Using Shipping Container in a Recycling Center

The main advantages include primarily high durability and long lifespan of the container. Steel construction guarantees protection against moisture, dust and vandalism. Containers are mobile and can be easily moved according to current needs. Their versatility ensures that they find use not only as warehouses, but also as facilities for employees or equipment. Another advantage is the possibility of quick installation without the need for construction modifications and easy maintenance.

Who and Where Shipping Containers Are Suitable

Shipping containers are suitable for small and large recycling centers, municipal collection points, temporary collection points and mobile recycling stations. They work great in environments with limited space where it is necessary to use every meter efficiently. They will also find use in places with changing storage capacity needs, for example in seasonal operations or during extraordinary collection events.

Practical Ideas for Use in Recycling Centers

  • Mobile raw material warehouse: Container can serve as a temporary warehouse during increased waste volume or during facility renovations.
  • Waste sorting station: After adding internal equipment, the container can be used as a place for manual sorting and packaging of secondary raw materials.
  • Secure storage of hazardous materials: A lockable container provides a protected place for temporary storage of e-waste, batteries or chemicals.
  • Mobile collection point: Container can be equipped with a window and office equipment and used as a mobile collection point for metals or paper.
  • Employee facilities: After modification, it will serve as a changing room, dining area or office directly at the facility.
