Do you need a reliable, secure, and spacious storage facility right at hand? Long-term rental of a 20-foot High Cube container in the elegant RAL 7016 shade (anthracite grey) is the ideal solution for anyone who is renovating a house, looking for seasonal storage, or needs additional storage space directly on their property. We offer clear terms, a solid construction, and the option to rent throughout the Czech Republic – without the hassle of international transport.

Rental Terms and Pricing Information

The price listed in the ad is valid for long-term rental (from 11 months) and is per month excluding VAT. The final rental price does not change for the entire duration of the contract, allowing you to plan your budget precisely. Of course, the rental period can be tailored to your needs – simply choose the duration that matches the schedule of the renovation.

The rental price includes the use of the container in its standard configuration. You additionally pay for transport based on the destination and any handling (e.g., crane placement if you order it). You will receive all details, including an exact transport calculation, after entering your delivery location.

We arrange transport based on your request. For an accurate calculation of transport and handling costs, the specific delivery location must be known – therefore, please include the address in your inquiry. The unloading of the container from the transport vehicle is arranged by the customer, for example using a crane or other lifting equipment. This way you have full control over placement and we minimize the risk of property damage.

We provide container rental including transport only within the Czech Republic. We do not offer international transport. This means that whether you are in Prague, Brno, Ostrava, or a smaller village, we will reliably deliver the container to you.

Complete information can be found in the price list: shipping container rental.

What You Need to Know – No Modifications Allowed

The rented container is the property of the lessor and must be kept in its original condition throughout the rental period. It is not permitted to make any modifications to its construction – you must not drill, cut, add windows, doors, ventilation, fixed shelves, or otherwise disturb the steel construction. All equipment inside must be freestanding and removable without damage. Upon termination of the rental, you return the container unchanged, clean, and ready for further use.

Dimensions and Parameters of the 20-Foot High Cube Container

Shipping containers with a length of 20 feet (approximately 6 meters) labeled High Cube differ from the standard version primarily in their internal height. Thanks to the higher roof, you gain significantly more volume and comfort when handling bulkier items.

  • External dimensions: length 6,058 mm, width 2,438 mm, height 2,896 mm
  • Internal dimensions: length approximately 5,898 mm, width 2,352 mm, height 2,698 mm
  • Internal volume: approx. 37.4 m³
  • Empty container weight (tare): around 2,200–2,400 kg
  • Load capacity (maximum payload): up to 28,000 kg

These parameters make the 20-foot High Cube an exceptionally versatile storage facility – whether you need to store furniture, building materials, or bulky equipment.

Using a Rented Container as Storage During House Renovation

House renovation brings not only new living possibilities but also considerable chaos and the need to protect valuables from dust, moisture, and damage. A rented 20-foot High Cube container becomes your temporary storage right on site – saving you time, money, and nerves.

How to Use the Container as Storage During Renovation

Place the container on a suitable solid surface (e.g., a driveway, courtyard, or construction site) and you can immediately move into it everything that would suffer during the renovation. All furniture, paintings, electronics, kitchen equipment, personal items, or building materials that you do not currently need can be safely locked away and protected from inclement weather and dirt. Thanks to its generous dimensions and load capacity, you can comfortably store heavy machinery, wooden beams, or pallets with cladding.

Advantages of Storage in a Container During Renovation

  • Everything in one place – no need to transport valuables to distant warehouses and pay for repeated transport.
  • Property protection – the enclosed steel construction protects against moisture, snow, wind, and thieves.
  • Time flexibility – you have the container rented precisely for the duration of the renovation and can use it without restrictions.
  • Order on the construction site – tools, materials, and finishing elements stored in the container do not block the working space.
  • Security – solid doors with the option of your own lock prevent unauthorized entry.

Who Will Benefit

Container rental as storage during renovation will be appreciated especially by:

  • Owners of family houses and apartments – protecting their property during construction modifications.
  • Construction companies and tradesmen – needing safe storage of tools and materials on site.
  • Designers and investors – ensuring organization on larger renovations.
  • Property managers – solving temporary storage of equipment during renovation of residential units.

Where to Place the Container

The container can be placed on any solid and level surface – typically a driveway, garden courtyard, parking lot, or directly on the construction site. However, it is necessary to ensure that the area is accessible to the transport vehicle and has sufficient load-bearing capacity. When placing on public space, we recommend checking local regulations. Thanks to the elegant RAL 7016 color, the container looks modern and does not disturb the surroundings, even in residential neighborhoods.

What Can Be Stored in a 20-Foot High Cube and How Much Fits

Thanks to a volume of over 37 m³ and high load capacity, you can load into the container:

  • Contents of an entire two-room apartment – including disassembled furniture, boxes, carpets, appliances, and decorations.
  • Building materials – plasterboard panels, insulation, tiles, windows, doors, plumbing elements.
  • Seasonal equipment – garden furniture, grill, lawnmower, tires.
  • Documentation and archives – sturdy boxes with documents that must not come into contact with moisture.

Practically speaking: a 20-foot High Cube can fit roughly 200–250 classic moving boxes and several pieces of disassembled furniture. For perspective – you can easily store the equipment of a kitchen, living room, bedroom, and a smaller work corner.

Tips and Ideas for Effective Storage

  • Use the height – thanks to the High Cube variant, you can stack boxes and lighter items vertically without worrying about headroom.
  • Shelving and racks – simple metal shelving can be freely placed in the container (without modifications to the construction) to organize tools and small materials.
  • Labeling boxes – label individual boxes so you can quickly find what you need during the renovation.
  • Protection against moisture – although the container is watertight, we recommend using silicone gel moisture absorbers or briefly airing the doors to prevent condensation.
  • Security – use your own security lock and always lock the container, even during short absences.

Other Uses Without Modifications

Despite the fact that the rented container cannot be structurally modified (see below), its use goes beyond just renovation. Popular uses include:

  • Seasonal storage – storing garden equipment, Christmas decorations, or sports equipment when not in use.
  • Storage for entrepreneurs – temporary storage of goods, packaging, promotional materials, or tools.
  • Temporary storage during moving – if you are moving and need to store property temporarily.
  • Document archiving – for companies that need to store files safely and dry.

It always applies that the container serves exclusively as a storage space – without any structural modifications.

Long-term rental of a 20-foot High Cube container in the modern RAL 7016 shade is a smart and affordable solution for anyone who needs secure storage during house renovation, while moving, or for seasonal storage. High load capacity, volume over 37 m³, and an elegant appearance make it the ideal helper. Thanks to solid terms and clear rules, you know everything will go smoothly – from delivery to return.
