SPECIFICATIONS: Hörmann steel door for shipping container

The steel entrance door for shipping containers that we offer is in the standard dimension of 1000 x 2000 mm – clear passage 979 mm. Alternatively, a variant for an extra charge in the dimension of 1100 x 2000 mm – clear passage 1079 mm. The doors are set in a steel frame, which is always custom-made according to the location and type of container! Opening possible left and right.

The doors are in RAL 9002 color. When the customer requires doors in a different RAL shade – we repaint these doors to a different shade for an additional fee of 100€ excluding VAT.
This is not a baked color, but only a top coat in a similar container color. The color is only from the outside of the container – the standard color for the inside is always in RAL 9002.

What type of Hörmann door for your container?

Doors for shipping container are divided into these 4 types:

• doors to the side of the container for standard container height
• doors to the side of the container for High Cube container height
• doors to the rear of the container for standard container height
• doors to the rear of the container for High Cube container height

Purchase and installation of Hörmann doors

The offer is only valid for containers that are purchased from us! The price is only for the door and installation. Container is not included in the price! We do not install doors on containers that are not purchased from us, nor do we go to installation work to customers outside our operation. The discounted offer of transport or free transport does not apply to conversions of this type. Transport is always charged according to actual costs according to the place of destination. Fireproof additional doors Hörmann are set in a steel frame, so the structural strength of the container where steel panels are located is not weakened.

A container modified in this way can only be used for storage purposes and cannot be used for maritime transport. A container with additional doors is a great short-term and long-term office, a construction cell for a night watchman in the area or a storage space with an office.

Possibility to buy doors without installation

We can also send the door including the frame separately with your own installation. In this case, the price will be reduced by CZK 1,500 (€60) excluding VAT + you will be charged postage according to the place of destination. For an exact calculation, please send us the delivery address including the postal code.

Before sending the goods, you must provide us with the exact dimension from the floor of the
container to the lower profile of the upper part of the container (cutout for the door) – see photo with a question mark. And also the type of opening from the outside – left / right.

As a rule, these are the dimensions according to the type and manufacturer: (insertion of doors into the side of the container)

• HC dimension: 2630 x 1130 x 100 mm
• Frame weight 41.5 + door 48 kg = 89.5 kg
• Standard: 2330 x 1130 x 100 mm
• Frame weight 35 kg + door 48 kg = 83 kg

We usually install these doors in our own containers. If you order the door separately with your own installation and there are clear signs of its use, including installation – please note that the door cannot be returned in this condition.
