STANDARD 20 FEET SHIPPING CONTAINER
A standard 20-foot shipping container, also known as a TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit), is one of the most popular types of containers in the world. This type of container is 20 feet (about 6.1 meters) long, 8 feet (about 2.4 meters) wide, and 8.5 feet (about 2.6 meters) high. It has a volume of about 33 cubic meters and a load capacity of about 28 tons.
A standard 20-foot shipping container is used to transport various types of goods by sea, and it can be easily moved from one mode of transport to another (eg from ship to truck or rail) thanks to its dimensions that meet international container shipping standards.
Containers of this type are constructed of steel and have a solid structure that is resistant to adverse weather conditions and mechanical stress during transportation. They are equipped with typical closable double-leaf doors and have the option of additional equipment for easier and safer handling, such as safety locks, ventilation, lighting or drawers for cooling.
Globally standard 20ft shipping containers play a key role in international trade and logistics – enabling the efficient and safe transport of goods between different locations around the world, both within continents and across oceans. Thanks to the standardization of these containers, the entire logistics chain is facilitated and the economic efficiency of the transport of goods increases.
20 FOOT CONTAINER GRAY
The color RAL 7035, often called light grey, is a common color used on shipping containers. This paint is highly resistant to weather conditions and protects the container from corrosion and UV radiation. Thanks to this color, the containers are highly visible and easily identifiable in different environments.
20′ SHIPPING CONTAINER IICL 6
IICL 6 container quality means that the container meets strict international standards for condition and safety. This standard ensures that the container is in excellent condition and is suitable for repeated use when transporting goods by sea.
In relation to the shipping container, the IICL 6 quality and RAL 7035 color combine excellent condition and durability with aesthetic appearance and practicality, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods by sea. This combination is important for the proper protection and handling of cargo throughout the entire logistics chain.
