This shipping container shed is a great option for anyone who needs additional covered storage space quickly and without a building permit. The shelter is suitable for two or more 20”shipping containers to create a covered space for storage, work and other activities.

A structure built in this way provides the space to create a covered shed that is time-saving and much less expensive than a brick structure. It also has the great advantage of being mobile and can be moved from one place to another or dismantled when storage space is not needed.

For an extra charge, you can order the following:

• Solid steel rear wall, PVC opening front wall. Optional fixings must be fitted to the walls.

• PVC sheet steel canopy with optional extra wall cladding.

Use of shelter between shipping containers

Shelters between shipping containers are often used in industry, construction or logistics where there is a need to quickly create a sheltered space.

They can be used as temporary warehouses, workshops, tool sheds or small machinery stores. They consist of structural elements that can be easily attached to containers, creating a stable and durable structure that will last for years.

The advantages of shipping container shelters are that they are quick to assemble, flexible, portable, weatherproof and cheaper than traditional masonry structures.

• Maximum snow load: 0,30 kN/m² If necessary, container shelters can also be erected in areas with a higher snow load, as long as the snow load does not exceed 30 kg/m² (e.g. by thawing the shelter in winter or keeping the roof free of snow).

Anchoring elements (anchoring):

Suitable for standard containers 2.6 m high or HC containers 2.9 m high.

• Mounting brackets (included) for quick and undamaged installation. Fixing clamp depth from 50 to 80 mm.

• PVC front panel with roller shutter door. PVC cabinet with roller door (S x H 200 x 224 cm or H = 254 for HC) with steel frame, clamps, packaging and handles.

• Steel front/back (optional).

Closed front wall including steel structure, lining and fixings (lining optional).

As this is a palletised oversize piece, the cost of transport in the Czech Republic is EUR 140 excluding VAT. Delivery to other countries on request!

The general design calculations are only valid if the containers are not stacked. Installation on stacked containers is at your own risk and will invalidate the product warranty.
