HARD TOP CONTAINER

Hard top container as well as the open top container is often used for transporting bulky or heavy loads that cannot be easily loaded or unloaded in standard ways. Unlike a container with a tarpaulin roof, it has a removable fixed top. This allows for easier loading and unloading of cargo that is too bulky or heavy to fit into a regular container.

A hard top container is a special type of shipping container. That is equipped with an open fixed top part for simple roof loading. It is most often used for bulky and heavy objects that cannot be loaded through doors and require a crane to handle them.

These are, for example, heavy ship engines or heavy machine parts.

How is it made?

It is made of steel panels, similar to other types of containers. However, unlike an open top container, it has a fixed ceiling instead of an open top.

In addition, it has an opening door as standard at one end of the container from the narrower part, which allows easy loading and unloading of cargo. These doors are often equipped with locks and locking mechanisms to ensure safe locking and protection of cargo.

Hard top containers are usually equipped with stiffeners to provide strength and stability in case of handling and transport. These reinforcements and structural elements ensure that the container maintains its shape and durability even under demanding conditions.

Sizes may vary as with other types of containers, for example 20-foot and 40-foot container.

SOLID ROOF

The most distinctive feature of a hard top container is the open top. Unlike regular storage containers that have fixed ceilings, a hard top container has a fixed removable roof.

Hard top containers are often used for loads that require protection from the weather, but at the same time it is not advisable to have an open top. This may include fragile or sensitive cargo that could be damaged by rain, snow or sunlight.

The ceiling of the hard top container is made of solid steel panels that are firmly connected and provide a strong and durable structure. This solid ceiling provides protection and security for the cargo inside the container.
