INSULATED COOLING AND FREEZING CONTAINER 40’HC

The insulated, refrigerated, freezer shipping container has revolutionized logistics because since the inception of this type of insulated container, it has been possible to transport fresh food all over the world. You can refrigerate or freeze food and thus everything stays fresh until it reaches its destination.

Sea containers with a built-in aggregate – cooling unit are used for ship, train or air transport. All that is needed is electricity to operate the container. The most frequently used freezing or cooling containers are in the sizes 20′, 20’HC and 40’HC. These sizes are the most used.

What is the difference between a refrigerated container and a freezer container?

It simply depends on what temperature you set, and the container will cool or freeze accordingly. The new type of containers can be frozen to -40 °C or heated to a temperature of +40 °C. Shipping containers meet applicable ISO standards.

TERMS OF USE OF THE REEFER CONTAINER

In the case of using a freezer container, the cooling unit – aggregate must not be covered in order to guarantee the full functionality of the container.

The marine freezer container must be in a well-ventilated area when in use, so that the heat generated by the unit is dissipated as quickly as possible and thereby provide the coldest possible air for the unit, so as not to reduce the cooling effect of the refrigerated shipping container.

It is necessary to take care of sufficient air circulation inside the container so that the effect is as high as possible. Sufficient gaps between pallets, maximum loading height, all this needs to be observed in order for the cooling or freezing effect to be as good as possible.
