We have ramps for shipping containers in stock in several different sizes. It is always necessary to take into account the load capacity of the ramps. One will be needed for cars, another for a pallet truck. The ramps standardly have an anti-slip surface and are made for easy maintenance and cleaning.

How long and wide should the ramp be?
First, determine the height of the ramp. The “height” of the ramp is determined according to the ramp height for the vehicle. And it is also necessary to know the “slope”. The slope is usually found in the vehicle’s technical documentation. For passenger cars it is usually in the range of 25 to 30%. But it always depends on the specific car.
If you cannot determine the slope, the general rule is a maximum of 30%.
Ramp length = ramp height x 100 /: slope in %
The width should generally be 5 cm greater than the tire diameter. If the ramp is too narrow, the load capacity of the ramp decreases.
Metal or aluminum ramps are clearly the highest quality and are suitable for use both in professional operations and for home use. They also have the best load capacity.
For shipping containers, straight ramps are mainly used. These are suitable for machines and vehicles with higher clearance, such as ATVs or regular cars. Straight ramps are also a cheaper option.
A loading ramp is particularly suitable for transporting goods on a pallet truck. It is also manufactured in several different sizes and load capacities and is commonly in stock with us.
