This lock is placed on one of the corners of the container and serves to ensure the security of the transported material against unauthorized access or theft.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE CORNER LOCK FOR A SHIPPING CONTAINER?
- serves to secure containers to the ground for safety and insurance reasons
- 8.5 mm holes surrounding the central 35 mm hole
How to install the corner lock on the container:
- insert the corner lock at a right angle into the corner casting
- rotate and secure in place
- secure the lock to the ground accordingly
Important notice! The corner lock can only be attached to the container if the container is lifted. The corner lock cannot be attached when the container is already placed down.
A typical corner lock for a shipping container is made from a durable steel alloy material to withstand external influences and handling. It is designed to be easily and firmly attached to the container structure and to have sufficient strength and resistance against unauthorized manipulation.
